Welcome to the Kiewa Valley Historical Society Inc

 

The Kiewa Valley Historical Society aims to preserve and conserve the history and heritage that is unique to the Kiewa Valley and surrounding Bogong High Plains situated in North East Victoria. The museum consists of four permanent and one temporary exhibition, information walls, a photo gallery, a diorama of the Bogong High Plains, a model hydro system, and DVD screens, which displays the area's history and cultural heritage, along with the  social history, natural science areas and technological developments of Mt Beauty and the Kiewa Valley. Our mission is to engage and educate visitors to our museum through our exhibitions and access to our collection. We hope you enjoy this site and visit our museum soon.
